We provide integrated refrigerated logistics services designed to handle temperature-sensitive cargo with efficiency, safety, and speed across port, warehouse, and transportation operations.
Stevedoring Services
With 700 feet of dedicated deepwater berth, three mobile harbor cranes, a 20-acre container terminal, and a 135,000-square-foot refrigerated warehouse, Port Logistics Refrigerated Services (PLRS) is fully equipped to handle midsize container vessels and feeder ships serving Central America and the Caribbean. In addition to containerized cargo, PLRS specializes in handling breakbulk, out-of-gauge, and heavy-lift cargo aboard specialty vessels.
Refrigerated Warehousing
Secure Glycol, temperature-controlled storage solutions for chilled and frozen products. Our facility offers more than 5,000 pallet positions across five independently controlled storage rooms with temperatures ranging from 33°F to ambient. In addition, our 14,000-square-foot freezer maintains temperatures as low as -5°F, ensuring reliable cold chain integrity for a wide range of perishable commodities.
Transportation & Distribution
Strategically located less than two miles from the I-4 and I-75 corridors, our facility offers direct access to one of the nation's fastest-growing distribution and logistics hubs. This prime location provides efficient connectivity to major distribution centers throughout Florida and the Southeastern United States, reducing transportation costs, shortening transit times, and enabling faster, more reliable deliveries.
Cross Docking Services
Our facility features 18 climate-controlled loading doors and a large loading dock that enable efficient cargo transfers between inbound and outbound trucks and containers, minimizing storage time, accelerating supply chain transit, and preserving the integrity of the cold chain. Our experienced workforce is staffed to support daily shipping volumes while maintaining the flexibility to operate extended shifts when needed to accommodate special projects, dedicated cross-docking operations, and surge capacity requirements.
On-site CBP AG and USDA
Providing fast, efficient cargo processing. Our 8,000-square-foot temperature-controlled fumigation facility supports timely inspections, treatment monitoring, and regulatory compliance, helping maintain product quality while minimizing delays.
Value-Added Services
Inspection, labeling, repacking, and handling services customized for client-specific supply chain requirements, including Break Bulk and Heavy Lift capabilities for oversized and specialized cargo.

Efficient Cold Chain Operations From Port To Delivery
PLRS streamlines refrigerated cargo handling through a fully integrated logistics process designed for speed, safety, and temperature control at every stage.

Temperature-sensitive cargo is discharged directly from our dedicated berth and transferred immediately to our refrigerated container yard, preserving cold chain integrity throughout the process. Cargo is then positioned for inspection, fumigation, stripping, transloading, warehousing, or direct delivery while remaining within a temperature-controlled environment.

With five separate temperature-controlled storage rooms, including a dedicated freezer, PLRS can safely store products requiring temperatures ranging from -5°F to ambient. Our facility also features more than 250 refrigerated container (reefer) plugs, with expansion underway to increase capacity to over 500 plugs. Products are professionally handled, securely stored, and continuously monitored within our climate-controlled warehouse and terminal environments, ensuring cold chain integrity from arrival through distribution.

PLRS utilizes a fully integrated Terminal Operating System (TOS), Yard Management System (YMS), and Warehouse Management System (WMS) to provide real-time inventory visibility, accurate product tracking, and efficient material handling. These integrated systems streamline cargo movements, optimize warehouse and yard operations, and support the rapid, reliable distribution of your products and containers.
